Build a Human Evidence Firewall Before the Next Viral Panic
You do not need to become a scientist. You need seven questions that slow your brain down before someone else speeds your emotions up
Evidence: Canonical evidence standard

What is worth carrying forward
- Emotional intensity should increase your verification threshold, not decrease it.
- Original source, mechanism, independent corroboration and falsifiability matter more than repost count.
- A visible correction is evidence that the learning system still works.
The First Three Seconds
A shocking headline reaches your nervous system before your research habits wake up. Anger says share. Fear says warn everyone. Identity says defend your side. SocialIQ inserts a small firewall between emotion and action.
Seven Questions
Who created the claim? What is the original source? What exactly is being alleged? What mechanism would make it possible? Is the evidence independently corroborated? What evidence would falsify it? What important context or denominator is missing? If you cannot answer several of these, the correct label is not 'true' or 'false' yet. It is 'needs verification'.
Independence Means Correcting Your Own Side
A serious investigation system must be willing to destroy a claim that supports its worldview when the evidence fails. Otherwise it is not research; it is propaganda. SocialIQ keeps FACT, INFERENCE, HYPOTHESIS, ALLEGATION, METAPHOR, OPINION and CORRECTED separate for exactly this reason.

Before sharing an emotionally intense claim, identify the original source, exact claim, mechanism, independent corroboration, falsifier and missing context. Strong emotion raises the verification threshold.
